Ken and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday! Wow, I can't believe how time has flown by! It has been the best 4 years, though....we spent much of yesterday in Greenville just reminiscing our dating and early married years. I once again saw how a day spent entirely goofing off with my best friend is one of the greatest types of days one can have. :-)

We ran into a couple of stores, namely consignment, while we were out and about. The ladies in one particular store were so ecstatic and excited when we told them we'd just found out it was a boy. We spent over an hour in there, the ladies oohing and aahing when I came out of the dressing room with various tops I was trying on....Ken giving them advice on internet service providers....advice on buying clothes on sale that will fit the baby next spring and summer....etc. and so on. Ken and I were pleased at how pleasant and helpful they were! It really makes shopping a pleasure when you have experiences like that one.

We also went into a store in Easley called Puddle Duds. I went in to see if they carried the bedding and crib we're looking to buy, and they did. Ken was able to see the crib in person for the first time, and he was instantly sold on it. The solid wood construction is hard to beat; it will hold up to our son's activity and energy! (We have a sneaking suspicion that our little boy will be a very boisterous one!)

We then were finally able to register for most of our baby basics at Babies R' Us. Ken had fun running all over the store with the laser gun, scanning whatever I pointed to (he scanned me a couple of times for good measure ;-). I let him pick out the stroller-travel system....he picked out the coolest one of all. He "test drove" so many, I got confused!

Today I'm off to register at Target and maybe Belk (I don't know if they have registry there!). It's almost like being engaged again, but cuter stuff is involved! Instead of pizza pans and hampers and pillows, we're scanning turtle-embossed bibs, newborn gowns, and pacifiers! So much fun....

Meg
