Gardner is so vocal now. He won't quit cooing, squealing, and ahhing...but I wouldn't ask him to....those are the sweetest little sounds in the whole world, and they make the walls of our house resound with happiness.
Rolling bi-directionally now, he is quite the little wiggle-worm. Gone are the days where I could just leave him in one spot, run over to do something in another room, and come back to find him just as I left him. I know in a matter of just a few more weeks he will be crawling....and will be able to actually follow me into the next room. Wow.
He is such the little charmer. Everywhere I take him, if he sees faces that he recognizes, he flaps his little arms and gives people high-fives (well, sort of). His eyes grow wide with excitement, and he sucks his little lower lip in and out, in and out, just because I think he likes the little noise it makes when he does that.
Tomorrow, a good friend of ours, Lanna, is taking us out to do a photo shoot of Gardner on the front lawn of my alma mater college. I will be sure to post some of the pictures once I have her permission, and convert them to digital format. I am sure they will be incredibly fantastic; she is a very talented photographer (and person as a whole).
