(Post from Gardner....late on a Saturday...when I'm supposed to be in bed asleep. Shhh....)
Hi, everybody.
First of all, let me give a shout out to my Dad for redesigning my baby blog. It's so awesome. Babies like me love bright colors and simple lines. Way to go, Daddy.
Second, let me tell you what I have learned to do. You ready? I can sit up on my own now. I can sit up for, like, maybe 3 minutes without tumbling over. Isn't that cool? I can play with my toys in a whole different way now that I can sit up straight and hold them in my hands. Mommy looks like she's going to cry when she sees me sitting up by myself. I guess she's crying cause she's happy. Or maybe she's realizing that I'm just growing up so, so fast.
Guess what else I can do? I can say "ma ma." It's probably not that I am actually calling Mom when I do this, but I can say it, and they wrote it down in my baby book. I can also say "bye bye," but only when I feel like it. I love learning new consonant sounds.
Oh, I almost forgot. I have my first tooth peeking through now, bottom right. I like to rub my tongue over it because it's new and different. Pretty soon I will be able to eat crunchy foods like crackers and zweiback toast, Mommy says. I won't know what to do with myself, not eating just soft foods anymore. Mom puts Orajel on my sore gums to help me sleep better. It tastes good; like cherry (that's what Mom tells me, anyway. I wouldn't know cause I've never tasted cherry before till now).
Gotta go, I hear my Mom coming. I have a busy day tomorrow, so I need to sleep. G'night.
