Gardner is on a fast-track to crawling! It slipped up on us! One minute he was just content with scooting on his tummy or his bottom.....the next minute, it seemed as if we blinked our eyes and he was up on all fours! He gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, as if he's "revving up." He sometimes propels himself forward onto his chest in one huge movement. It's quite painful looking sometimes, but he just laughs and laughs.

His newest thing is actually a yoga move. He puts his hands out, straightens his elbows, and pushes up onto his tip-toes (kind of like a military push-up position). He then holds it there, not knowing what to do next! In yoga, this pose is called the "downward facing dog." It is so cute....I sat for minutes on end yesterday trying to capture it in a photo, and I finally succeeded. As soon as I upload it, it will be on this blog for your viewing. :)

Today, Gardner and I are meeting Ken at a local park for a lunch picnic. He is really getting to enjoy swings and slides (I'm talking about Gardner, but I suppose Ken is, too).....
